In the balmy summer days of 2009 Bare Threads set out to record and release their Wasted Nights EP expertly assisted by Aron Ward on engineering duties, Jack Williams Dodd and Aron Ward in the mix and Joel Eaton on the mastering. The result, from summer nights working hard in nooks and crannies across Bristol, is the 6 track EP, with 'Wasted Nights' as the title track.
Bare Threads have firmly embraced the DIY ethos, getting out there and doing it themselves. They are releasing the EP on the band’s own Beats Harder recordings, adhering to the aims of the label to create:
